The city’s page says Oakley Union Elementary runs six elementary schools. The Dashboard lists seven, so we used the Dashboard’s list.
How do Oakley schools score on the state Dashboard?
Below the state average on most test measures in 2025, with some bright spots. The Dashboard reports English and math as “distance from standard,” in points. A negative number means the average student scored below the state standard. The 2025 statewide figures were 8.1 points below in English and 42.4 points below in math (California School Dashboard, 2025 results, checked September 25, 2026).

Freedom High, at 1050 Neroly Road, had a 96.4% graduation rate in 2025, compared with 87.8% statewide, and 55.4% of graduates counted as prepared for college or career, compared with 51.7% statewide. On tests, it was 5.3 points below standard in English and 115.2 points below in math (California School Dashboard, 2025 results, checked September 25, 2026).
Across the whole Liberty Union High School District, whose office is in Brentwood, the 2025 graduation rate was 93.5%, and the district was 24.0 points above standard in English and 72.4 below in math (same source).
How should I use these numbers?
As one input, next to the commute, the house and the price. A single year of scores can move, and averages hide a lot. Look at the full Dashboard report for each school, including the student groups and the trend, at caschooldashboard.org.
If you want to see a campus, call the school and ask about tours or events open to the public. Then verify the assigned school with the district one more time before you remove contingencies.
